Hi, my name is Amy and I am a registered psychotherapist.
You've come here because you're suffering in some way. It is my honour to be able to offer a therapy space for people who want to face the pain in their lives, and see what might be on the other side. Many people come at times of change or pain: relationships, life stages, careers, dark nights of the soul, or plunges into the deep end.
I have worked as a therapist for seven years including within a ptsd-counselling service, a trauma and addiction hospital, and a substance-use outpatient program. I’m able to sit with intense and painful stuff, and together find a way to make sense of it so you don’t feel so alone and confused with it.
Therapy with me is a space that is warm, accepting, relaxed and allowing. Many clients say they appreciate my engaged, active and supportive approach. I listen deeply, provide support, and guide you in listening to your feelings and the different parts of yourself, so you can find your own “inner answers”.
Many of my clients identify with being highly sensitive, as well as neurodivergent (especially ADHD), and as a highly sensitive person myself, I am passionate about working with these ways of being.
I am also a therapist-in-training at a newly established legal psychedelic clinic in Mornington and invite inquiries about psychedelic therapy for treatment resistant PTSD and depression.
If you feel drawn, please contact me so we can have an initial brief phone call to see if I can support you, and if our schedules align.
My work is supported by own own self-care, connection, and seeking of expansiveness: dancing, friendship, meditating, poetry, swimming, focusing (ask me about this!), being an aunty, and pottery. I also receive my own therapy and fortnightly supervision.
I look forward to hearing from you.
